Abstract
Left pneumonectomy was carried out in 9 dogs, and the bronchial stump was sealed by methyl cyanoacrilate adhesive. The followed up period lasted 270 days. The reparation process of the bronchial stump occurred by evolution of granulation tissue and granulomas caused by strange bodies, which were found in all periods observed. Epithelization with typical respiratory epithelium occurred in 2 cases. There were no cases of bronchial fistula.
