, : The sedative effect of acupuncture. American Journal of Chinese Medicine 7(3): 253-258

Eight patients with a diagnosis of anxiety neurosis were treated with acupuncture. Of them, 6 showed good to moderate response while 2 had no change. The endorphin theory in applying acupuncture is discussed.
