Abstract
Studies in the spontaneous mutation variability of wild wheat species and Aegilops in the Erebunian reserve have shown an increase in the frequency of chromosome aberrations of wild wheat species (reproduction of 1984). The highest frequency of chromosome aberration among wild wheats is found in Triticum urartus Thum., while among Aegilops in Ae. tauschii Cosson.
