Abstract
The Sabin-Feldman dye test (SF) and the Indirect Immunofluorescent Antibody Test (IFAT) were used to determine Toxoplasma gondii antibodies in 78 goat serum samples. It was found that the IFAT detected significantly more antibodies than the SF. Titres observed in both tests showed no similarity. Marked differences were found for negative SF reactions and 1:64 dilutions in IFAT.
