The venous topography of the small circumference of the tentorium

, : The venous topography of the small circumference of the tentorium. Journal of Neuroradiology. Journal de Neuroradiologie 5(1): 13-15

The middle segment of the normal basal vein of Rosenthal courses about 15 mm above the mean portion of the free edge of the tentorial hiatus. This landmark, situated 25 mm behind the dorsum sellae, can be used in topographic diagnosis of [human] transtentorial hernia.
