Abstract
Most AVM using a transcatheter technique and Ivalon particles with or without Spongostan. Detachable balloons or steel coils may be the choice for large arterial feeders or fistulae. They should be used in restricted AVM cases because second embolization becomes impossible. Aggressive embolizaiton with attempts to occlude all feeders during a 1st attempt should be avoided.
