Four new species of Paramonostomum from India are described: P. indica from the intestine of Anser indicus (Latham); P. poecilorhynchai from the intestine of Anas poecilorhyncha (Foster); P. thapari from the intestine of Nettapus coromandelianus (Gmelin) and Anas indicus (Latham) and P. kanpurensis from the intestine of Anser anser (Latham).
