Trh effects on free operant avoidance learning in fischer 344 rats
Fischer 344 rats given intraperitoneally thyrotropin-releasing hormone at a dose of 20 mg/kg, increased the overall rate of wheel-turning responses with no reliable decrease in the number of shocks received. Thyrotropin-releasing hormone at the 20 mg/kg dose resulted in enhanced rates of burst responses under a free-operant avoidance situation.
