Trh test an adverse reaction

, : Trh test an adverse reaction. Archives of Internal Medicine 142(1): 132-133

The side effects of i.v. administration of protirelin TRH are usually mild and transient. The loss of consciousness and apical heart tones occurred in 2 young patients after protirelin injection. The mechanism for the reactions in these patients was not known but the absence of heart sounds in the presence of no palpable pulse and no obtainable blood pressure should be included among the adverse effects that may occur after administration of protirelin i.v.
