Four mycotoxins isolated from molded maize cultures of F. sulphureum were characterized as 3.alpha.,4.beta.,15-triacetoxy-12,13-epoxytrichothec-9-ene, 4.beta.,15-diacetoxy-3.alpha.-hydroxy-12,13-epoxytrichothec-9-ene, 15-acetoxy-3.alpha.,4.beta.-dihydroxy-12,13-epoxytrichothec-9-ene and 4.beta.-acetoxy-3.alpha.,15-dihydroxy-12,13-epoxytrichothec-9-ene.
