Triclads inhabiting subterranean waters in the pyrenees france part 5 morphologic and cyto taxonomic studies of dendrocoelopsis bessoni new species

Bulletin du Museum National d'Histoire Naturelle Zoologie (283): 1095-1106

Dendrocoelopsis bessoni, inhabiting subterranean waters high in the Pyrenees [France] is described. The distinctive characteristic of this species is the occurrence of lateral lobular expansions along the dorsal part of the bursal canal which is surrounded by strong circular muscles.
