A case of eeg changes due to unsuspected cerebral ischemia during cardiopulmonary bypass

A case of Aortic dissection which had occurred unsuspected cerebral ischemia during cardiopulmonary bypass is reported. This accident was only manifested by a sudden disappearance of the patient's EEG on the right in LIFE SCAN MONITOR. We will discuss the usefulness of LIFE SCAN MONITOR compared with the conventional EEG.
