Investigation of 11 Aspilia species afforded several known kaurane derivatives and other diterpenes. From A. eenii a highly oxygenated germacrane bisepoxide was isolated. Comparison of the 1H NMR data with those of several germacrane derivatives from Senecio and Ligularia species, spin decoupling and NOED led to corrections of the structures of several compounds.
