Antagonistic activity in vitro of trichoderma viride on rhizoctonia solani isolated from pothos

Micologia Italiana 18(3): 71-76

The results of laboratory test showed the capacity of Trichoderma viride inhibiting the growth of Rhizoctonia solani on PDA. Nine strians of Trichoderma viride were compared and demonstrated a different antagonistic activity on pathogen fungus. This activity was competitive, metaboilc and parasitic. The antagonistic capacity of Trichoderma viride is influenced by the different temperatures in various ways.
