Cartography of intertidal biomass of chondrus crispus stackhouse along the asturian coast northern spain

Maps showing the standing-crop of biomass in the tidal zone on the Asturian coast in summer and winter are presented. The highest values of biomass (between 5 and 9 kg dry weight per meter of rocky coast) were found on the western part of the coast.
