Comparative pathogenicity of the root knot nematode meloidogyne incognita on susceptible and resistant chili cultivars

An initial inoculum level of 4J2/g soil significantly reduced the growth of chili cultivars Mathani i.c. 2. In contrast, the nematode did not have any significant adverse effect on the plant growth of cultivar Pusa Jwala.
