Composition and properties of humic acids of virgin and tilled soils and newly formed humic substances

Elemental composition, content of carbohydrates, amino acids, functional groups and benzoid degree of soil humic acids and newly formed humus substances have been investigated. In soil humic acids the content of aromatic components containing carbon and nitrogen and acid functional groups increases. The main parameters of the newly formed humic acids are conditioned by the chemical composition of plant residues.
