An attempt was made to carry out covalent immobilization of acetylcholinesterase and butyrylcholinesterase by the synthesis of their unsaturated derivatives and subsequent polymerization. The reactivity of the polymer preparations obtained with immobilized cholinesterases was studied with respect to substrates, oranophosphorus quasisubstrates, and nucleophilic reactivators. The results of the study show that the copolymerization method of immobilization can be used successfully to carry out covalent binding of cholinesterases with hydrophilic copolymers and at the same time ensures he retention of principal functional properties of the enzymes.
