The experiment was conducted in Nebit-Dag, Turkmen SSR, USSR. Data were presented on the physical properties of soils in irrigated fields under winter intermediate cereals, chemical composition and humus content in these soils, growth dynamids of winter rye triticale, and winter barley, winter rye and triticale productivity on these soils. Cultivation procedures for winter cereals in intermediate crops on these soils were recommended.
