Abstract
Data are presented on the following 14 spp., which are rare or new for the Dagestan ASSR: Bolboschoenus popovii, Carex extensa, C. brevicollis, C. distans, C. disticha, C. muricata, C. cuspidata, C. echinata, C. vesicaria, C. melananthiformis, C. cespitosa, C. pediformis, C. hallerana, C. transsilvanica. The first 6 spp. are new records for the Dagestan ASSR and for northern Caucasus. C. cuspidata, C. echinata, C. vesicaria, and C. melananthiformis are new records for the Dagestan ASSR.
