Ecophysiological bases of the varying quality of the growth and reproduction of the gastropod physella integra pulmonata

Ecophysiological bases of the varying quality of the growth and reproduction of the gastropod physella integra pulmonata

Ekologiya (Moscow) (4): 63-68

Experimental data were presented on P. integra growth and development under changing density conditions. A quantitative evaluation was made of the main ecophysiological characteristics of the growth of animals obtained from the same clutch. Mollusk capacity for regulating the distribution of assimilated food energy between somatic and generative growth was established.
