Experiments were carried out in 12 trained goldfish (Carassius auratus) given 0.1, 0.2 and 0.5 mg/l of copper ions. These subletal doses inhibited food conditioned reflexes. The level of disturbances is determined by the concentration of toxic substances, as well as by individual sensitivity and resistance of the fish.
