"Residual" resistance to virulent strains of parasite, depending on genes Lr10, Lr11 and Lr12, was studied. Strains of the parasite isolated in field and reproduced on lines TcLr10 and TcLr11 are found to be more compatible with thier own hosts than with alien ones, according to the number of pustules per unit of leaf surface and the yield of spores pustule. Different ways of genetical control resistance (minor genes, oligogenes or their "residual" effect) are interpreted as points on the evolution curve of host/parasite compatibility. Neither of these resistance forms has any advantage over the rest in respect of durability. Durable resistance is considered as a case of delayed parasite evolution, resulted from harmful effects of a next mutation for pathogenicity, at any point of the evolution curve.
