Abstract
THE ACTIVITIES of cholinesterase and transaminases (GOT and GPT) were studied in serum of rats intoxicated with methomyl insecticide after 1, 2, 3, and 4 weeks of oral administration. The activities of GOT and GPT were significantly increased in all tested times in a cumulatively dose-related manner. On the contrary, the serum cholinesterase activity was significantly decreased in a similar manner.
