Moisture retention characteristics of a peanut shell compost container capacity and permanent wilting point

Moisture retention characteristics of a peanut shell compost container capacity and permanent wilting point

Bulletin des Academie & Societe Lorraines des Sciences 28(4): 147-156

Concepts and methods of moisture retention characterization in organic materials are applied to the study of a peanut-shell compost. High moisture retention, particularly for small matricial suctions, and high value of the available water capacity. Interest for agronomy: the dressing of this compost could conduce to improve the water properties of Senegalese soils.
