This study has been carried out the alpine zone of Tirgul Dagi (Mountain Tirgual) in the Eastern Black Sea Region of Turkey. It has been found out that the vegetation of the alpine region consists of five associations of plants which are Fesuco violaceae - Cerastietum lazicae, Daphno glomeratae - Veronicetum gentianoidis, Anthemisetum pectinatae, Androsaco villasae - Scorzoneretum seidlitzae, Potentillo owerinianae - Asteretum alpinae. The first two of these are the representatives of the alliance Stachydion macranthae, and the remaining three of the alliance Oxytropion albanae. Both alliances belong to the order Alchemillo - Campanuletalia tridentatae, and to the class Alchemillo - Campanuletea tridentatae. All of of these phytosociological syntaxons are new for the vegetation of Turkey and have been identified for the first time by the author.
