Notes on pubescence in lotus corniculatus l

Notes on pubescence in lotus corniculatus l

Floristische Rundbriefe 25(2): 109-112

It is doubted that Lotus corniculatus L. var. kochii CHRTKOVA-ZERTOVA is a valid taxon. The special characters, which have been described from dry habitats, are probably only a modification. At less dry sites the so called var. kochii can hardly be distinguished from the subsp. (or var.) hirsutus.
