In the early Neolithic dwelling of the Neolithic settlement Kremenik (4685-4625 B. C.) charred seeds of Triticum monococcum L., T. dicoccum Schrank., T. boeoticum Boiss, are found in pottery. Most probably wild einkorn occurred as a weed in the sowing area of wheat. Single seeds of Hordeum vulgare L. and H. vulgare var. nudum are also determined.
