Studies on foliose pyxinaceae lecanorales ascomycotina from argentina new records in the genus heterodermia

Heterodermia chilensis (Kurok.) Swinsc. and Krog, H. leucomela (L.) Poelt subsp. leucomela, H. lutescens (Kurok.) Follm. and H. vulgaris (Wain.) Follm. and Redon are reported as new to Argentina. The presence of H. leucomela subsp. boryi (Fee) Swinsc. and Krog is confirmed. Descriptions of the most distinctive features as well as taxonomic remarks and known distribution of each species are provided.
