Litter fungi associated with diversified angiospermic hosts were surveyed (Oct. 1983-Nov. 1984). Fungi were isolated using dilution plate, maternal plating, direct observation and litter incubation under moist conditions. Altogether 40 fungal species were isolated representing 16 genera. The data pertaining to their specific association with a particular litter has also been presented.
