Data obtained from the tudiues of ruderal vegetation in Lvov have promoted creation of a syntaxonomic scheme which embraces 20 associations and 2 derivative communities composing six classes: Bidentetea tripartiti R. Tx., Lohm et Prsg. in R. tx 1950 (one association), Chenopodietea Br.-Bl. 1952 and Lohm., J. et R. Text Matuszkiewicz 1962 (5), Artemisietea vulgaris Lohm. Prsg et R. Tx 1950 (8), Agropyretea repentis Oberd., Th. Muller et Cors in Oberd. et al. 1967 (1), Plantaginetea majoris R. Tx et Prsg. in R. Tx. 1950 (4), Galio-Urticetea Pass. 1967 (2). Brief phytocenotic and ecological characteristics of the distinguished syntaxons are presented.
