Two new species of symphyla from the krakatau islands indonesia and the ujung kulon peninsula myriapoda symphyla scolopendrellidae scutigerellidae

Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society of London B Biological Sciences 322(1211): 401-412

Symphyla have been collected from the Krakatau Island and the Ujung Kulon Peninsula on Java for the first time. Two species were found, both new to science: Symphylella javanensis in Scolopendrellidae and Millotgellina krakatauanus in Scutigerellidae. They are described and figured. The dispersal of the latter species to the Krakataus is discussed.
