The findings of glands in the vaginal epithelia is very rare among us, but very common in other countries where pregnant women were treated with diethylstilbestrol. Of the 10 patients analysed, only two have been exposed to diethylstilbestrol. The vaginal involvement was more frequently in small areas. Vaginal transversal septus, was not observed. In spite of the high frequency of metaplasia, no case of dysplasia or in situ carcinoma was found. Two cases revealed papillomavirus infection.
