13C NMR spectra of pentacyclic triterpenoids: A compilation and some salient features

A compilation of the 13C NMR data of a selected variety of naturally occurring pentacyclic triterpenoids, arranged skeletonwise, is provided. A brief account of the newer signal assignment techniques and a discussion on the substituent effects on the 13C shieldings of the triterpenoids, are also included.
