Bacterioplankton responses as indicator of changes in waterbody ecosystems under the influence of anthropogenic pollution

Bacterioplankton is a convenient object for investigation of ecosystem's response on anthropogenic action. Using modelling "dose-reaction" on laboratory water flow models, the character structural and functional changes in grouping of bacterioplankton as a result of exposure of ecosystem to non-permanent pollution by low and high concentrations of organic matter (OM), chronic influence of small OM doses, and as well pollution of combined miniralized runoff with addition of OM are determined. It was proved, that the most dangerous is chronic inflow to system through the short time intervals even small quantity of organic contaminants and mineralized runoff. This leads to stable rapture of structural characteristics and changes in bacterioplankton metabolism. The level of quantity development, bacterial production increase and as a result passing bacterioplankton into higher typological status is observed. The reaction of bacterioplankton as a most sensitive and mobile biocomponents can be used in evaluation of changes that happens in ecosystem.
