Clinical importance of immunophenotyping of tumor cells in lymphatic nonleukemic hemoblastoses

Clinical importance of immunophenotyping of tumor cells in lymphatic nonleukemic hemoblastoses

Terapevticheskii Arkhiv 64(7): 43-48

The results of immunophenotyping of lymphoid cells of a lymph node and peripheral blood of 87 lymphatic nonleukemic hemoblastosis patients were analyzed. The analysis revealed heterogeneity within a single tumor substrate. The immunophenotypical profile of pathological cells depends on the stage of the tumor progression of the disease and localization of the primary focus of injury. The use of a wide range of monoclonal antibodies facilitates the determination of the immunological maturity of a lymphoid cell which makes it easier to diagnose various forms of lymphatic nonleukemia hemoblastoses.
