Twenty-eight glaucomatous eyes and 30 normal eyes were tested for ophthalmic artery, central artery of retina and ciliary arteries with color Doppler flow imaging (CDFI) and color Doppler power imaging (CDPI). The results showed that both were highly sensitive to detect the pathologic changes of blood flow in glaucomatous eyes. They are valuable for early diagnosis of glaucoma and prediction of the changes of patients' condition. It was also found that CDPI was even note sensitive and precise than CDFI.
