Abstract
Non-uniform staining of electrophoretically separated polypeptides is one of the major problems in the assessment of their homogeneity. In the present communication we report the example of such behavior of human erythrocyte membrane and cytoskeleton proteins, stained with Coomassie brilliant blue R-250, Silver nitrate, and Periodic acid Schiff's (PAS) in reduced denaturing gels.
