Electrophoretic analysis of nine polymorphic isozyme loci (Aat-1, Aat-2, Aat-3, Gdh-1, 6-Pgd-1, Lap-1, Lap-2, Mdh-1, and Mdh-3) was used to study adult plants and embryos of two crops on forest plantations and in the initial natural population of Scotch pine. On the plantation, genetic structure significantly changed in embryos collected in different years. It was shown that genetic variation in the first generation of Scotch pine grown on forest seed plantations was considerably lower than that in the natural population.
