This research was to investigate the effect of body condition score of Holstein dry cows on calving condition postpartum physical condition and feed intake. The main results obtained are as follows:Body condition score of overall body measurements before calving gradually decreased until 30days after calving. The percentages of easy calving at 2.50 apprx 2.99 or 3.00 apprx 3.49 of body condition scores were 66.7 or 68.9% and those at over 3.49 of body condition score decreased by 29.4%. Calf birth weights gradually increased as body condition scores of cow increased. The correlation coefficients of body condition score to body weights of cow or calf, and to body measurements were high and showed positive correlation.
