PKV (Punjabrao Krishi Vidyapeeth) Research Journal 16(2): 193-196



The field trial on effect of different fertilizer doses and planting methods on yield and quality of onion (Allium cepa L.) was conducted at Department of Horticulture, Punjabrao Krishi Vidyapeeth, Akola, during rabi 1979. Results indicated that, the ridges and furrow layout appeared to be most suitable for planting the onion so as to increase yield.
