Effect of oil on the enzyme activity of alluvial soils in west Siberia

The effect of oil on the fermentative activity and some agrochemical indices of the alluvial soils has been studied. The oil in the soil influences the nitrogen and carbon metabolism enzymes in a different way. Dehydrogenase and invertase are noted to obviously decrease in some soils of the ecosystems. Accumulation of the hardly hydrolysable nitrogen is revealed.
