Bone marrow donor lymphocyte infusion in the total dose of 6,8 X 108 cells/kg was administered in a 42-year old man with chronic myelogenous leukemia who had relapsed after second HLA-matched allogeneic bone marrow transplantation. A complete haematological and cytogenetic remission occurred after 10 and 16 weeks respectively in the absence of clinical symptoms of graft versus host disease. The patient is now 14 months post lymphocyte infusion and remains in remission although bcr-abl transcript is detectable.
