Psilophyton parvulum nov. sp. (Trimerophytopsida, Pteridophyta) is described from Marchin, a Lower Devonian (early Emsian) locality from Belgium (northern margin of the Dinant synclinorium). This very little plant is made of longitudinally ribbed axes. The main axis shows anisotomous branching resulting in lateral units. The isotomous lateral axes are vegetative or fertile and spirally inserted on the main axis. Fertile axes end in little fusiform paired sporangia.
