Occurrence of sweet potato feathery mottle virus in sweet potato germplasm in the State of Pernambuco

During survey of viral diseases in the collection of sweet potato germplasm of the Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco, by using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay on nitrocellulose membrane (NCM-ELISA) test, it was observed the occurrence of sweet potato feathery mottle virus in some cultivars. Among 63 accessions analyzed, none of them showed positive reaction for sweet potato latent virus, sweet potato mild mottle virus, and sweet potato chlorotic fleck virus.
