Six new species of the caddisfly genus Oxyethira, subgenus Oxyethira (Trichoptera: Hydroptilidae), are described from the People's Republic of China, bringing the number of species of the genus known from China to ten. One new species is added to the O. (O.) flavicornis Group, two to the O. (O.) grisea Group, and three to the O. (O.) ramosa Group. Diagnostic descriptions and illustrations for males of the new species are provided.
