Stochastic phenology model for the beet armyworm, Spodoptera exigua Huebner (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae), for a mass rearing system

A stochastic phenology model for the beet armyworm, Spodoptera exigua, is described for use in the mass rearing system. The biologically based phenology model of Dennis et al. (1986) was used to describe distribution of the beet armyworm in each developmental stage from the first instar through adult by temperature.
