Study of correlation of B-mode sonographic classification of gallstones with dissolution of methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE) in vitro

Study of correlation of B-mode sonographic classification of gallstones with dissolution of methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE) in vitro

Zhongguo Chaosheng Yixue Zazhi 12(7): 10-12

31 couples of gallstone were examined by sonography in vitro and were divided into five patterns. Stone dissolution in MTBE and chemical composition analysis were accomplished in all casas. The chemical composition of gallstones correlated well with all the sonographic patterns. The outcome of dissolution was different because of different types of gallstone.
