Treating condyloma acuminata with carbon dioxide laser combined with gripping tissue with hemostatic forceps

Carbon dioxide laser technique, which is now applied extensively in clinical treating condyloma acuminata, can not close entirely the blood vessels whose diameter is beyond 0.3 mm. So it is easy to bleed during or after the operation. Because the main pathological change of condyloma acuminata is at epidermis especially in spinal cell layer, the diseased tissue must be got rid of completely to avoid recurrence. But the difficulty of the operation is in how to control the depth of the operation. According to the clinical observation of the these recent years we conclude that it is a simple and effective method of treating condyloma acuminata to grip diseased tissue from its basal layer to normal tissue with hemostatic forceps in combination with Carbon dioxide laser technique.
