Abstract
In this paper the results of the physico-chemical, funistical and hydrobiological research are shown. The quality and quantity composition of zooplankton of three groups: Rotatoria, Cladocera and Copepoda is characterized. Vast comparison of pond and reservoir environments are made. The issues, that refer to the species composition of the reservoir's zooplankton, the development dynamics and the process of planktonic groups' forming are submitted to the discussion. The results of the work explaining, among others, the mechanism of the zooplankton spatial arrangement, can be an advice to more many-sided use of dam reservoirs then they are now.
